After talking to our customers, we feel and be very helpful if the +/- button on the a la carte ordering module would directly add or subtract the meals from the cart. The highest level of this would be a side bar that displays the meals that are currently in the client's cart each time they hit the + and - button on a dish, but even the little shopping basket with a total meal number above it that is currently there works fine. Many of our first time clients don't realize that they have to physically press the + button and then "click add to cart" after hitting the + button, as most e-commerce stores now, when you hit the + button, it simply adds that item directly into the cart.
