Allow the customer to change the date for their order at checkout

If a customer chooses for example Monday and picks their meals etc. then goes to checkout but their location is delivered to on Tuesday - they have to delete all items in their cart and start over. Unless I am missing something. Could definitely cost an order/someone could just leave the site especially if they build custom meals and will have to start over.
