Setting Up, Guided 1.82.0

  • Guided onboarding, start to live: A new onboarding takes an account from empty to open for orders, one step at a time: business details, payments, branding, kitchen settings, ordering rules, recipes, a first menu, delivery zones, marketing, website, then a review before going live. Progress is saved as you go, so setup can be picked up where it was left.
  • Build a first menu with AI or a spreadsheet: The menu step can draft a menu for you and show it for approval before anything is saved, or take a CSV if the menu already exists in a spreadsheet — a template is provided. Delivery days, cutoff and timeframes are set in the same step, and a banner confirms the menu once it is created.
  • Delivery zones from a radius: Enter a radius around your kitchen and the zones are generated for you, banded by distance, instead of collecting zipcodes by hand. A CSV upload is still there for anyone who has their list already.
  • Quick Setup for the settings that always get set: The couple of dozen settings touched on nearly every install — region and formats, plan and modules, roles, and the rest — are now asked in one ordered run instead of being hunted across eight tabs. Nothing new to learn: they are the same settings, saved the same way, and each step says which tab they live on.
  • Guided tours through the admin: Staff can now be walked through the admin itself — a tour highlights each control in turn and opens the sections it needs along the way. Useful for training a new hire without sitting beside them.
  • Update retail stock from a sheet: Retail locations can take a whole day's stock from a CSV rather than a field at a time. The sheet is checked and priced first and shown to you before anything is written, and each upload is recorded against the location so a mistake can be traced.
  • Ingredient prices per portion: The price change for removing or swapping an ingredient can now be set per portion size, so a large plate is not credited the same as a small one. There is a one-click copy if every portion should share the same figure.
  • Drag a meal's ingredients into order: Ingredients on a meal and on a recipe can be dragged into the order you want them read, and that order is kept everywhere the list is shown.
Improvement
  • Name a meal's default portion: A meal can now carry its own name for its default portion instead of using the account-wide one, so a dish that sells as a Bowl and a dish that sells as a Plate can sit on the same menu. Leave it blank and the meal keeps the account default.
  • Affiliate report, rebuilt: The affiliate detail report has been redesigned — the same figures, laid out to be read at a glance rather than scrolled through.

Accurate Campaign Stats & Proposal Messaging 1.81.1

  • Tell customers when their bag comes back: Marking a bag as returned can now email the customer to confirm you have it and that the deposit has been credited to their balance. It appears on System Emails as "Bag: Returned", so you can switch it off if you would rather not send it.

  • Proposal replies send without reloading: Replying on a proposal now posts straight into the conversation instead of reloading the whole page, and the browser no longer warns you about leaving with unsaved changes when you send one. That same warning also no longer appears when you save a payment or a contract on a proposal.
  • Proposal messages read as a conversation: The message thread on a proposal is now laid out as a conversation — your side and the customer’s on opposite sides, messages from the same person grouped together, and a marker for each new day — instead of one full-width card per message. The customer sees the same on their side of the proposal.
  • Campaign statistics open faster: The statistics tab of a campaign no longer reads every recorded open and click in your store to work out one campaign’s numbers, so it opens quickly even on stores with a long marketing history.
  • Message text always shown as plain text: Anything typed into a proposal message is now shown strictly as text, so a message can never affect the page it is displayed on.
Fix
  • Open and click rates count each email once: Campaign open and click rates were counting every single time a message was opened, so one email opened five times counted as five — and a rate could read well over 100%. Rates now count each recipient once. The full number of opens and clicks, repeats included, is shown in small text under each rate, so nothing is lost.
  • Recurring text message groups show when editing: Opening a saved recurring text message showed the To and Exclude fields empty even though groups were saved against it. The saved groups now load correctly.
  • General bug fixes: Various fixes and stability improvements across the admin.

Security & Customer Data Protection 1.81.0

  • Every data export recorded: Exports of customer, payment and dispute data are now recorded — who took the file, when, and how many records it held. Each file stays tied to the download it came from, so a file can be accounted for later instead of being one of many identical copies.
  • Alerts when an unusual amount of data leaves: A large or out-of-pattern export now raises an alert, and so does a session that works through an entire customer list a page at a time rather than downloading it. Alerts can be copied to an address of your choosing.
  • Preset and custom meal plans: When you create a subscription plan you now choose how portion sizes work for it. A preset plan keeps one portion size for the whole plan and lets the customer choose their portion at checkout. A custom plan lets you set the portion size per category on each price, with no portion choice for the customer. Portion size per category is now switched on for every store.
Improvement
  • Limits on how much data one request can ask for: A single request can no longer ask for an unlimited number of records, so no one call can pull an entire list. If you have an integration that fetches long lists, it may need to page through the results.
  • The admin only offers what a role can open: The admin menu now shows only the sections a role is allowed to open, so your staff no longer see tabs that lead nowhere and each account is offered less than the whole product.
  • Reach customers who have not ordered in a while: Marketing campaigns and text messages can now target customers who have not ordered in 6 months or in a year, so win-back campaigns take a couple of clicks.
Fix
  • Long lists no longer cut short: Lists that hold more than a page of records — the checkouts of a busy month, the meals on a menu — now load in full instead of stopping at the first 25 rows.

  • Notifications: A new notifications bell in the admin keeps you up to date, new orders, payments, text messages, subscription changes, reviews, low stock and events, all in one place. Filter them by type and mark them as read.

  • AI supplier receipt import: Upload a photo of a supplier receipt and the AI extracts every line item automatically. The review page lays the items out as cards with macro accordions and bulk update actions, fuzzy-matches against existing inventory by name and supplier ID, and surfaces mismatches with a Convert & Recalculate Macros action that re-runs the math.
  • Products — a brand-new module: A standalone products system with its own catalog, edit pages and an empty-state screen for fresh installs. Products now show individually in the cart sidebar with images, quantities and prices, and the delivery-date selector on the product page has been redesigned as collapsible pills. Extras products got new helper functions that make custom flows easier to build.
  • Recurring subscription coupons: Coupons can now be configured to apply on a recurring cadence to active subscriptions, replacing the previous one-shot model.
